French Restaurants

Le Beaujolais

You’ll be hard-pressed to find a more exquisite meal in western Canada. Le Beaujolais is without question the cornerstone of fine dining in the Rockies and one of longest standing Banff dining establishments. Exceptional cuisine, professional service and tremendous value – one of our personal favourites.
This French restaurant boasts a great atmosphere, beautiful views and abundant natural light. Albert Moser, owner/chef always seems to be on location overseeing his impeccable establishment and if you’re lucky he may even personally flambé up some delectable crêpes at your table.

Bistro Cafe de Paris

This is, without doubt, Banff’s best kept secret!
Excellent prices for exceptional french inspired food, casual atmosphere and efficient service.
Try the Black Angus Beef Bourguignon Pie with root vegetables, mushrooms, Yukon gold potatoes all in a large beautiful bowl capped with the most delicious puff pastry crust ($19) or the Coq au Vin, chicken simmered in red wine sauce with bacon, pearl onions, root vegetables, mushrooms and pommes purée ($24)… ooh la la!
