Cafes & Bakeries

Wild Flour Artisan Bakery

We love the concept of this bustling bakery/cafe, good healthy food, mostly organic and freshly baked bread. Lots of seating but fills up early with locals and visitors alike. Homemade soups, healthy pastries, and good hearty sandwiches. We’re seriously addicted to their breads, simply outstanding, try the Banff baguette or the mixed grain loaf. Outdoor seating is great for people and dog watching, there’s free wi-fi and a really cool outdoor wood-fired oven that gets lit most Fridays. Evelyn’s Coffee Bar

There are three things that we really like at Evelyn’s: the roast chicken and cranberry sandwich, their mochaccino with whipped cream, and their home baked ginger/jam cookies.

The Castle Pantry

If you’re staying in the Banff Springs hotel or just browsing around this is a good place for a pit stop. The soups and the chilli are excellent also gourmet teas specifically created for the Fairmont, buy a cup or box. The sandwiches and sushi options are a bit pricey…
